Search engine optimization basically means making your website as pleasing as possible to the various search engines on
the internet to get you the highest possible ranking when somebody comes looking for something in your field. Sound confusing? Well, there
are a lot of people out there who claim to be experts in search engine optimization. Unfortunately, not many of them are. But there are
those who do this type of work for a living and can give you some great advice on the subject.

1. Search Marketing Lab
The
Search Marketing Lab
can show you how to really get your website to the top of the organic search engines. They have video tutorials and a monthly newsletter that gives you updates with any new SEO information

2. Webposition
Webposition is a great piece of software
that offers many of the tools necessary to improve your web site's search engine rankings. It will do a lot of the
tough work in search engine optimization for you. You can also sign up for their MarketPosition Newsletter

3. SEO Elite
SEO Elite is a downloadable program that you can use for optimizing your website for the search engines. For proof of how well it works, go to Google and type in "search engine optimization software"

4. Traffic Geyser
Traffic Geyser is simply incredible. Believe it
or not, search engines love video. Especially now, as video sharing sites become more popular by the day. Traffic Geyser is the perfect
tool for getting your video ads uploaded to all of the major video sharing sites quickly and easily. It even has a tool for creating your
own videos without having to ever touch a camera. Follow their easy instructions and you could have your site at the top of the search
engines in no time. Now's the time to enter this growing market.
5. StomperNet
StomperNet would be a lot higher on this list except for the fact
that their service isn't always available. They teach search engine optimization to their customers, but only so many at a time. So they
open up their service for a limited time, accept a certain amount of clients, and then work with them only for a select period of time.
But you can sign up for their weekly newsletter and they'll send you really good information about search engine optimization and business
building. Plus, if you get on their newsletter list, then you'll be notified about when they start accepting new customers.
6. Site Pro News
Site Pro News is a free newsletter and webmaster resource site.

7. SearchEngineHelp.com
SearchEngineHelp.com has an ebook with a lot of tips on
how to improve your search engine ranking called "The Unfair Advantage Book on Winning the Search Engine Wars". This book
is very good and they update it every month with new information and new strategies for getting your website to the top of the search
engines.
8. XML Sitemaps
XML Sitemaps isn't a search engine optimization tool exactly,
but they can help you create sitemaps for your website that you can upload to your Google Webmaster Central account. Using a sitemap is
the fastest way to get your website indexed by Google or any of the other search engines. You can type up your sitemaps yourself, but it's
a lot easier to have it done for you, especially if you make a lot of changes to your website regularly, and need to update your sitemap
regularly. XML Sitemaps if free to use, so give it a try and see what you think.
9. Secret Spider Generator
Secret Spider Generator works the same way as
XML Sitemaps above, except that it is a piece of downloadable software that you run from your computer. It quickly creates sitemaps for
your websites that you can upload to your Google Webmaster Central account.
10. Search Engine Optimization Professionals
You may prefer to have this work done for you by one of the professionals.This will be much more expensive, but can be worth it if you
don't have the time to take care of it yourself. There are a lot of self-proclaimed experts out there who aren't experts, so be careful.

where they will take care of everything for you.
