Writing Good Sales Copy
One of the most important things in ebusiness is good copywriting. Good copywriting can make all of the difference
between having a successful website and an unsuccessful one. If you're trying to sell something online, then you need to have good sales
copy that captures your potential customers' attention. You only have a few seconds to do it. Bad sales copy will cause them to leave your
site instantly. Good sales copy will get them to keep reading, and great sales copy will get them to make a purchase. Don't underestimate
the power of having good copywriting skills.
You can always hire someone to do it for you, but it's important that you learn it for yourself eventually. Here's what
I recommend.
1. Landing Page Cash Machine
Landing Page Cash Machine
is the best ebook I've found for learning how to convert visitors into buyers. It's written by a sales expert named Mark Widawer, and he goes
through basic, intermediate and advanced techniques for you to maximize your website's conversions. You can also get his "Million Dollar
Landing Page" template, which you can use to structure your sales letters and then just fill in your sales copy in the right places (it
comes with an instruction manual). He also has another ebook called "List Power" that teaches you how to set up your sales copy to get
the most visitors to join your mailing list. Plus he throws in a ton of bonuses.
2. Power Copywriting for the Internet
Power Copywriting for the Internet
is another great ebook for learning how to write good sales copy. It's written by Bob Serling, and has a comprehensive 149-page
book and 5 CD's worth of material that will help you improve your sales conversions infinitely. There is a wealth of knowledge here.
3. World Copywriting Newsletter
David Garfinkel's World Copywriting Newsletter
is free and it keeps you updated with everything that's going on in the world of sales copy. I highly recommend subscribing now and
learning everything you can from him as soon as possible. You can also read his World Copywriting Blog
for even more expert advice. David Garfinkel really is an expert in this field. You could do a lot worse than to learn from him. Plus, it's
free, so why not? If you like what you get, then you might want to take the plunge and get his Breakthrough Copywriting
course as well.
3. 60 Second Sales Letter
60 Second Sales Letter is a piece of software
that was developed by the Internet Marketing Center that automates the job of writing sales copy for you. You plug in the key words and
phrases that you will need, and you'll get a completed sales letter generated for you to just copy over to your website. It's a very good
piece of software, and it works great for those of you who are just starting out.
4. Hire a copywriter
If you really don't want to write the copy yourself, or if you need someone to write for you for now until you learn more about doing it
yourself, then you can always hire a copywriter. It'll be more expensive, but you'll probably get a great salesletter out of
it. Here are a few places where you can go to find a writer:
