Find A Dropshipper
Are you looking to start your own online business, but can't find a product to sell? Maybe you can partner with a good dropshipper to
get you started. Dropshippers are basically wholesalers who will ship items directly to your customers for you for a fee. You have no
warehousing costs and you don't have to keep all of your inventory in your house. It's become very popular lately to combine the use of
dropshippers with ebay to instantly reach a large customer base.
But you have to be careful. Since it's become so popular, there are a lot of people out there trying to pass themselves off as
dropshippers, but really they're just middlemen who are selling wholesale items to you at retail prices. Which means you won't make any
money trying to sell their items. Also, there are a lot of scammers out there trying to sell you fake lists of dropshippers for hundreds
of dollars. Be careful, and very cautious when looking for a dropshipper. I recommend starting with the companies listed below. They all have access to, and information about real dropshippers, and I find them all to be very helpful.
1. Worldwide Brands
Worldwide Brands is the internet's most trusted source for real wholesalers. They're not a wholesaler or dropshipper themselves, but they can connect you with
over 9,000 dropshippers and over 3 million products that you can sell online. They check out every wholesaler individually and directly to make sure that they're legitimate. If Worldwide Brands lists them in their service, then you can rest assured that there is no scam waiting for you. They are simply the best at what they do.
2. Shopster
Shopster can give you access to over 130 dropshippers and over 900,000 products for you to sell. Their system works well with ebay and other shopping sites. In fact, they are one of only 30 eBay certified service providers. They can also host a
storefront for you if you prefer not to set up your own website. Take advantage of their free 7-day trial, and see if you like it.
3. Doba
Doba is another websiter that can connect you with 115 wholesale distributors and over
1 million products to sell. They are also one of 30 eBay certified service providers, and they have a great system for loading your items directly into eBay. They also have a free 7-day trial, so
your risk has been minimized.
4. SaleHoo
SaleHoo is also not a dropshipper, but they
are a great resource for finding dropshippers in many categories, and they can help you get set up on ebay, also. They have great customer
service and they guarantee your satisfaction.
5. The US Trader
The good folks at The US Trader call themselves your 'one-stop shop' for wholesale, dropshipper, government auction and trading
information. And they're right. They work with a very wide variety of dropshippers who carry items that you can sell on your website.
Note: Don't bother looking for dropshippers through a search engine. All the top listings seem to be scams for some
reason. You can research dropshippers and wholesalers yourself by simply using your telephone. If you know of an item that you want to
sell online, try calling the customer service area of the manufacturer of that item and let them know that you want to sell their stuff
and then ask them which wholesalers they use. In most cases they will be happy to help you.
