Adding Audio To Your Website
Adding audio to your site is a little more advanced, and certainly something you will want to wait to get into
until you've learned some of the previous steps in building your website. That said, it's never been easier to add audio to your
site or blog. Plus, it's been proven to increase conversions. Below are some websites and software that can help you with your
audio needs.
1. Audio Acrobat
Audio Acrobat is my favorite
website for hosting my audio clips. It's so incredibly easy to use. All you have to do is record your message (either by phone, or with
a microphone), or upload your audio clip, and then copy the code they give you directly onto your webpage, and you're done. It takes
almost no time at all. Take a look at my video review to see all of their features.

2. Xiosoft Audio
Xiosoft Audio is another great
website for audio clips. It works in much the same way as Audio Acrobat, but with a somewhat different interface. Take a look at my
video review to see all of their features.

AUDIO EDITING SOFTWARE
1. WavePad
WavePad is a downloadable audio editing program
that is available as either a free or full (paid) version. I've used WavePad a lot to edit my pre-recorded audio clips into web friendly
formats, and then upload them. It works great for me, and I find it pretty easy to
use. Which means it'll be way easy for you.
2. Audacity
Audacity is a free downloadable audio editing program. You
can use it to record live audio and edit your MP3, WAV or AIFF sound files (including splicing or mixing sounds together). It's a good,
cost-effective way to create quality sound recordings to play on your website.
Note: In some cases, you may need to convert your audio files to a different format so that they're compatible with certain
websites. Here's some good software for converting files.
